Everyone seems to be preparing for the New Year in this Magalia real estate market. There were 12 new listings and 17 price reductions as Magalia home sellers try to get the attention of prospective Magalia home buyers. Actual sales activity was very light this past holiday week, with only 3 homes going under agreement and 4 homes selling. Interest rates inched up to 6.17 from 6.11 for 30 year fixed rate mortgages. The Magalia real estate conditions are very similar to those reported last week.  Price reductions and new listings are prevalent as Magalia home sellers attempt to get their homes noticed by all prospective Magalia home buyers this upcoming January.  In Magalia this past week, there were 5 price reductions, 10 new listings, while only 3 Magalia properties went under agreement, and 2 Magalia properties were officially sold.  The first time Magalia home buyer and retiring "down sizing" Magalia home buyers seem to be the most active in the current market.  This past week Magalia homes up to $250,000 and Magalia manufactured homes had the highest percentages of total listings under agreement.  The Magalia manufactured homes are performing the strongest with 18% of the total listings being ...
