The Holiday season is certainly in full swing with no time to stop, as we just celebrated Thanksgiving 3 days ago.   As we close out 2024, real estate remains active.  Buyers and sellers are poised to make their move, optimistic that the economy will improve, interest rates will settle in somewhere between 5% - 6%, and home prices will increase at the normal 2% - 3% annual rate as it has been over the past 40 years.  Inquiries on my listings continue with potential buyers even asking if I have any homes for sale not in the MLS (pocket listings).  My current inventory is primarily vacant land listings as well as a fantastic lease opportunity - reach out to me for details on any of these! If you are considering selling, be it a condominium or single-family residence, or ... 12/01/2024

Throwback Thursdays: went to an open house in 2012 I took a few pictures, because I had a hard time appreciating the benefits of this sign. here we are and I am still wondering. Now with that said 12 years later I still scratch my head what were the sellers thinking and what the benefit was?Clearly the listing agent could not convince them to remove it for the Open House.Basically, everywhere I went I saw the same signs, was this a Freudian slip, that one of the sellers did not really want to sell? Speechless Sundays: Who was the head chef in your home on Thanksgiving? Well in all fairness, in our home it was Holly. The photos are a bit old, but you get the idea. Five years ago, feels like yesterday to me.Thanksgiving has too many chefs if you asked me. Needless to say, one has to be the head chef.Here in our household, it is a toss-up me or Holly:) Jill our cat did not really want to be involved in the cooking.
