Last week I had the pleasure of joining two very good friends at a new restaurant, Larkin's in Eagle Rock, CA.Eagle Rock is a town in Los Angeles that is bordered by Glendale to the west, La Canada to the north, Pasadena to the east, and Downtown LA to the south. This is a very hip community and home to Occidental College. Sorry I digress so now back to Larkin's.Larkin's offers a very warm eating experience. The restored craftsman home makes you feel like your eating at home and therefore expect a tasty homestyle meal. My mind had already set high expectations before I had even opened a menu.
