Not your typical museum, the famous La Habra Children's Museum is a place to get involved.  It's a fun place for kids of all ages, we've been there many times with our family.  Located in Northern Orange County and housed in the former Union Pacific depot, the building was donated to the city in 1956. After setting vacant for years and the dedication of hard work of many local residents the Children's Museum has become special place of interest in the city.  La Habra, CA 90631 A charity fundraiser will be held on Friday, August 10th at the beautiful La Habra Community Center to benefit cancer research. The event will feature a "Casino Night" organized by Andrea's Angels and headed by Angela Trujillo. Angela was diagnosed with cancer herself,  nine years ago. She was diagnosed with three different cancers in three years. After being in remission for six years, she was diagnosed again (a month ago) for the fourth time. Yet this remarkable woman doesn't let that get her down. She's moving forward with this special event to raise more funds for researching cancer. As of July 23, 2007 there are 312 homes listed for sale, showing a jump in the inventory as compared to the last year.We are starting to see a long list of price reductions especially where the listing prices were unreasonable to begin with. La Habra Real Estate and homes are still of great value and are most affordable in North Orange County area.
