So Pizza is a Vegetable?? And All This Time I Thought It Was A Fruit!! I realize this is not related to real estate, but I just thought it was too funny to pass up. Apparently, the USDA (translation -- "government") has decided that because of the tomato paste, pizza is now considered a vegetable! While this is great news for me because I probably don't eat enough vegetables as it is, it also raised a serious concern. You see, I'd always been taught that because they had seeds and grew above the ground, a tomato is technically a fruit. In California we have non judicial foreclosures for homes that are foreclosed on. Compare that to Hawaii that has both Non Judicial and Judicial and you will quickly realize how fortunate we are. In plain  english that means that because we have a non judicial foreclosure process, it does not require the lender to suit you for non payment and require you both to go to court. If you fill your description with how "Exceptional" you are and how you "always put your clients first", yet you don't really do any real estate transactions, are you unethical? OOPS No Takers On Huntington Beach's First Green Home Today the Orange County Register is reporting that there are no takers on Huntington Beach's first green home, oops.  The home was built and came on the market as a short sale and was foreclosed on before a sale could be secured.  The home came on the market back in January of 2010 at $1.69 million came off the market at $999,000.  When the bank got the home they dropped the price by more than $100,000 and is now listed at $885,240.  It is a three story home attracted a lot of attention. I had two phone calls today from family members of reverse mortgaged senior homeowners.  One found me through my blog here and the other from a mutual business acquaintance.
