Ok, I know "why" you don't want to pay - but "why" don't you want to pay? Sound a little confusing?  I'll straighten out the two "whys" in just a minute.  I am a Realtor - a Listing Agent, a Buyers Agent and an Agent who does a LOT of leases/rents.  So - on to first "why".  I know why you don't want to pay a Realtor.  You think you can just stick a sign in front of the house, put an ad in the paper and get that tenant, and it will cost your very little , if nothing.  And if you hire a Realtor, we will charge you to do the same things you just did, but it will cost you.  Do I have that right?  Is this what you are thinking??? Huntington Beach vacation post 1A train ride and the zoo.This is a post about part of my recent vacation in Huntington Beach California.I went to visit my daughter and her family including 2 grandsons.It was a hectic time and a great time. I got to spend some time playing with the boys and they got to see me again other than on Skype. My daughter keeps the boys on a pretty strict schedule for meals, naps and bedtime so everything we did had to be planned around their schedules.The Irvine Park Railroad was one of the days we went to ride on miniature railroad and the park there also includes the Orange County Zoo which the boys really seemed to enjoy. Yesterday was lifeguard requalification at Huntington Beach. And the returning lifeguards swam their requal swim of 1000 yards in a cool 53 degree water. However, the air temp was like summer (and it is today too). There were also lifeguard tryouts for new lifeguards, and that consists of a 1000 yard swim, and a run - swim - run. Always great to watch this event, and see the dedication of these lifeguards. It was a beautiful day and the Huntington Beach Pier in the distance was gorgeous!

Good morning ! Some of the agents were complaining in my office they needed to close a deal . I told them to quit complaining and take action. I got on the mls picked an area I liked to work , wrote a generic ad descibing sevral homes available for lease as we all know this is a quick way to keep consistant revenue while working with investors and buyers. The ad was free I received 17 phone calls within 2 hours wrote three leases over the following week and picked up 2 buyers. Surf City Here I ComeIn a few hours I catch an early flight and after laying over to change planes in Atlanta I am off to Huntington Beach California to visit my daughter and two grandsons and son-in-law. I arrive at John Wayne airport at 1:18 p.m. west coast time. I will make every effort to continue posting and commenting here in the rain and who knows maybe I’ll bump into an active rain member or two while I’m there.
