"Don't Text Me!" That's how I was greeted this morning when I answered my phone. Now had it been my accoutant or doctor, no problem. But this call came from a Listing Agent! (You know, the one's trying to sell a property) Now before we open up a HUGE debate about texting, let's back this up a little bit. I called on Wednesday to schedule an appointment for SATURDAY. {How's that for being prepared}But when I called, the agent's mailbox was FULL. Again, Listing Agent... Property... Voicemail Full... Nice. Since the only number listed in the MLS was her cell phone number in EVERY SINGLE SPOT, I decided to send an email. Again, this was sent on Wednesday. Should We Give Our Spare Change to Prospective Buyers? On the surface, that may seem like a strange question. After all, we work for commission, and we only get a commission if that potential buyer actually buys something, right? This came up over the weekend while I was out showing a client some listings in downtown Huntington Beach.
