Finally after a dozen plus years of communicating through our words and pics a real opportunity to get to know some of the personalities on Active Rain. I love the whole concept of virtual confab. Especially given our present circumstances. Up close and personal eyeball to eyeball is always preferable, however we must take what we can get during these unprecedented times. Thank you all for indulging me yesterday. 2020 Annual 5K Paw Walk San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas It’s almost time for the 8th Annual 5K Paw Walk in the Garden, hosted by the San Diego Botanic Garden and the Rancho Coastal Human Society. Proceeds will benefit both organizations.  The San Diego Botanic Garden’s mission is to introduce, or re-introduce, residents to the beauty and resources at the 37-acre facility in Encinitas. This fun, non-competitive event is on Saturday February 15, rain or shine, beginning at 8 am and running until 12 noon. The first walk starts at 9 am, and you must begin your walk no later than 11 am. And while having a dog is a big part of the fun, it’s not necessary!! From what I’ve read, and heard from a couple of people I know with dogs, humans AND dogs alike love the 5K Paw Walk at the San Diego...
