City of Eastvale - New Business Ordinance     As we continue to grow as a City, new and improved regulations become implemented. The newest regulations having the biggest impact in the City of Eastvale is that all businesses within the City of Eastvale must now possess a license. Whether you have a physical business or home office within the City, one must be registered with the City.   This applies to every realtor who has a listing or plans to conduct business in Eastvale. You must register your business with the city. The annual fee is $111. This registration fee is valid for 12 month starting on April 1st of every year till March 31st of the following year. In light of the recent earthquake that was centered in Fontana, CA one day ago, and because of the recent fires in Glendora, CA today, I thought that it would be a good time to remind everyone that they can register with their respective Counties for "Early Warning Notification System."   It is a a system that uses telephones to alert residents and businesses in your County who are affected, threatened, or might be endangered by an emergency event or a disaster.   After living in my generous sized home for almost 15 years, it was time to downsize. But where oh where to go? Until I settle that question, I am spending some time with my daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons, 8 and 6.   They live in a large house in Eastvale, California, where I have the guest room and share the bathroom with Spiderman, motorcycles, soldiers, WWE fighter guys, and the aforementioned grandsons.   I share everyday with my grandsons, and behold this great world again through their young eyes.    I also participate in such daily rituals as making sure their bears, Oscar and Jake, have the tv remotes close to them, so that after the boys go to school and if Oscar and Jake want to watch tv, the remotes are within their grasp. A tour around town, Eastvale CA   I wrote a blog last year about a Sunday drive around Eastvale. It has been almost a year and I wanted to update on some of the things one can find around town.                 To start with, our population has grown from 47,581 to over 67,605 as of Dec 2012.         Some of the new home builders are DR Horton, MBK, Standard Pacific, KB Homes and Pulte. Hamner Road Widening Project - Eastvale, CA     A major road widening project is currently underway between Mississippi Dr. in Norco all the way to Citrus Ave in Eastvale along Hamner. This expansion project is expected to last until February 2013.  This project when finished will widen the road that crosses the Santa Ana River. Major delays are expected on Hamner road. Only one lane will be available. Detour is strongly recommended. Limonite exit off the 15 fwy is a good alternate route depending on where you are going so plan ahead. A road along Hamner adjacent to this project is also being added to alleviate some of the congestion. One lane will always remain open during the project.
