Sharing my favorite source of graphics: www.VectorStock.com . Pre-pay for "credits" then use them up as you purchase. Most graphics are 1 credit ($1 each). Graphics come as zip files which contain 4 formats: AI, JPG, EPS, & PDF. You can open the AI and EPS files in Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape as layers you can edit (change wording etc.) VectorStock is a nifty site, easy to navigate, save to galleries, and NO annoying ads like the "free" sites.Above you can see the "Happy New Year 2016" graphic I just purchased for $1, along with 4 others in my cart I was comparing.P.S. Remember to upgrade to an expanded license if needed (if you are using as the main graphic for your product).

What is the difference between a stove, oven, and range?  A stove is a cooktop that houses the burners for cooking with pots and pans.  An oven bakes and roasts food inside, and often has a broiler underneath.  A range is the kitchen appliance that combines both the oven and the stove into one unit.  The cooking can be powered by fuel (gas or propane) or by electricity.  However, modern gas stoves also need electricity to power all the fancy features, such as the clock, alarm, lights, and programming. In a gourmet kitchen, don’t expect to see slide-in or freestanding ranges.  Instead, double ovens, convection ovens, and custom installation ovens are the standard of luxury.  Look for features such as a self-cleaning oven, an adjustable broiler, a warming drawer, and child lock-out safety ...

If you're planning to buy a house, it is time to pencil in your monthly budget.  Your budget will help show you how much income you have coming in, what expenses are going out, how much you are putting aside for savings, and how much extra money you have left after your bills are paid.  The extra money is called “disposable income”. If your income is too low, can you find ways to earn more income?  If your expenses are too high, how can you cut out some of them?  If you have credit cards and other consumer debt, how can you pay them off?  How will you put aside money and save up FUNDS to buy your home? If you don't know what your monthly expenses are, then you need to start tracking your expenses.  Get a handle on your expenses by keeping receipts for everything you spend and put them i...

Benefits: Because of the common ownership, everyone contributes HOA fees, so prized amenities are available to all residents.  For example, homeowners may have access to swimming pools, rec rooms, basketball courts, and BBQ facilities.  Another benefit is that condos typically cost less than a free-standing home so they are perceived as more affordable.Challenges: Common walls and small yards can reduce your privacy, and this can be a drawback.  Living in close communities means that nosy neighbors may annoy each other, and there could be more friction.  When the real estate market drops, condos are the usually the first to depreciate because they don’t maintain their value as well as detached homes.Condos have HOAs, CC&Rs (conditions, covenants, and restrictions), and additional rules ...

On our way back from lunch in Julian we stopped by Camp Cuyamaca in Descanso.  Camp Cuyamaca is where every sixth grader in San Diego public schools is provided the opportunity to spend a week under the leadership of trained camp counselors and their classroom teachers.  It is an opportunity for the students to explore the outdoors and is truly an adventure away from their families (many for the first time) and is a great learning experience in nature.   My children and husband attended Camp Cuyamaca, as did thousands of San Diego sixth graders, over the past 60 years of the program.  Everyone loved the experience of being away from home, sharing a cabin with their friends and experiencing nature through hikes, craft activities and evening programs.  When we stopped by on our drive home...
