Lake California: Leslee and I enjoy taking advantage of Lake California's 28 miles of private roads for walking. This morning on the last mile of our walk the doe in the picture joined us. The doe seemed to traverse the roadway as we walked. Leslee suggested it might be one that visits our yard. She said the deer would know her by the noise she makes when the deer come to the house. I however was still not certain. As Leslee catches the doe's attention sure enough the deer continues following us for the 1 mile walk home. We entered the house and stepped out to the back deck.
