Legoland In Carlsbad, California --Pumping Up Attractions, Rides. One year after unveiling plans to bring "Star Wars" to legoland, the Carlsbad theme park announced Thursday that this year it will debut a swashbuckling adventure, complete with Lego pirate ships, water cannons and a 25 foot plunge down chute. While Legoland -Carlsbad, California officials would not reveal the cost of the new 1.5 acre Pirate Reef attraction that will debut May 24, 2011 they characterized the project as a multi million-dollar investment that exceeded last year's expenditures on a new Star Wars Mini land.
