  I had a recent conversation with a Sheriff's office friend of mine. We were discussing traffic violations in the county, and the type of violations that recur. He had mentioned one intersection in particular and probably the most common traffic ticket in Cameron Park. I've committed the violation, but didn't get caught. If you are near that intersection and are able to watch for a few light changes, you will see the violation happen over and over again.   Fireworks Spectacular in Cameron Park a Success.   Did you get a chance to see a fireworks display yet? There was quite a show in Cameron Park, at the lake, last night. A large crowd came to the park earlier in the day to play games, listen to music, and compete in competitions. Most stayed for the main event - the fireworks display at the Summer Spectacular. The fireworks display was produced by Pyro Spectaculars, the largest producer on the West Coast.   I'm not here to tell you that I have an intense workout regimen, and why you should too. I am a member of Overcome Training, signed the family up recently at a great price. I have only been there a handful of times so far but the place is just right for me. I have been working a bunch of hours lately, physical work as a contractor does not replace the need for a regular exercise program. Overcome Training offers the traditional workout equipment: free weights, fancy isolation equipment, treadmill, elliptical, and such. They also have boxing (even a boxing ring), martial arts, MMA, yoga, spinning and special classes for more intense workouts. Now it's just a matter of getting in on a regular basis.   Let's say that you have made a video that you are pleased with, a real Oscar winning production.The video describes your clients property, the lighting is good, the sound quality is right on the money, and you've saved and uploaded to YouTube. Keywords are important and this video will show why. This is a short video of a job that I needed to send to the owner upon completion. I posted to YouTube to show the client, I expected a handful of views since it was not posted anywhere. Because I used some words that were being searched in YouTube, this video would appear as a suggested video. Before I knew it the views were in the hundreds! I added some annotations to "ride this pony" and have gotten some extra mileage from it. The lesson learned? One of the perks agents get who work at Lyon Real Estate is our office assistants input our listings to MLS. These hard-working people make sure we comply with all the new rules and regulations of MLS, so we don't violate anything and get fined. If I need to make changes to the marketing comments, for example, I need only to email my staff and they update the listing. But I'm one of those meticulous agents who pays attention to detail, which probably drives the staff nuts. If I see a hyphen missing or a typo, I email them to request a change. That's because nobody knows that I don't input that information myself, and I'd hate for a person to think I misspelled a word. Yeah, I know-I blog alot on "Green Subjects" and on conservation-in general...I just feel these things can't be ignored.  There are some Actions you too, can take to practice sensible, year-round water conservation-check it out: -Water outside, only when necessary -Sweep, don't wash paved areas -Repair leaky faucets-you will be amazed how much water you will save -Don't dawdle in the Shower. -Wash when your dishwasher and clothes washer are full-ONLY. -Don't run water while brushing teeth, shaving, peeling vegetables, or washing dishes by hand.
