BEWARE ~ the Facebook Color App is Actually Malware   Beware..... In the past few days or in the near future you may get an ad for a FREE Facebook application called “Facebook color changer,” which says it can change the color of your Facebook layout from the traditional royal blue to black, orange, yellow, green, purple, almost any color in the spectrum. Problem is, the app isn’t really from Facebook. And if you click on it, you’ll be rerouted to a malicious phishing site that may infect your computer and copy all your addresses. BEWARE: This email to the change the color is not from Facebook and it will immediately get all your email addresses and send them spam. So this morning ActiveRain put this comment on the site.       LEARN MORE- Click Here.   Thanks so much for answering my question and probably other members too.   Thanks for Reading my Real Estate Blog.......

A Tale of a Lost Dog, Diesel, Who Was Found  My friends relayed this story to me as they know I am involved in rescuing animals. This story bares repeating♥ They went camping in Arizona and of course it is about 114 degrees in the daytime. They always take their two Yorkies with them but take extremely good care of these little doggies. Anyway, they went off to swim for a couple of hours and when they came back, on of their dogs was missing, little Diesel that weighs about 3 lbs.  So they went down to the water, checked the area and started driving around. They reported it to the Shelter the following day and started making posters and posting them around the area and put them on many of the trash dumpsters. Meanwhile 2.5 days later a trashman was working the late shift and when he went...

Calimesa is a Great Place to Raise a Family   Here at the 'Plantation on the Lake' I spotted a mother duck and her ducklings; all 6 of them resting under the sign 'Duck Crossing'.   They are so cute all huddled up together. I guess she didn't like me taking her picture so she headed for the water.   And here is the happy family enjoying California's warm weather and swimming in the lake.  California is a dream come true state no matter what your needs or wants are. Manditory Water Restrictions in California In January 2014, California Governor Jerry Brown declared the state in a drought impossed an voluntary request for all public and residents to cut their water usuage by 20%. Hummingbirds and Nectar...Red or White Hummingbirds in Calimesa/Yucaipa     Attracting hummingbirds to your yard can be as easy as hanging a hummingbird feeder and filling it with a sugar water solution (1/4 cup sugar per cup of water). There’s no reason to add food coloring to turn the water red; you’re providing a substitute for flower nectar, which is clear. Don’t locate the feeder in direct sun, as the sugar water will spoil rapidly. In the shade your sugar water should last two or three days, except for very hot days, in which case it’s wise to change your hummingbird feeder water daily. Why are hummingbird feeders red? It’s not because hummingbirds are inherently attracted to the color red, because  hummingbirds feed on flowers of many colors: white, purple, yellow, red, even ultr...

I Can Still See You Hiding in the Bushes The bunnies have gotten used to us as I am sure they think we invaded their territory. Now, they don't even run off but just sit there. This little guy last night just stuck his nose in the bush. He never did leave!           Here is a picture from the other night.                  I am sure a big fan of living with nature and the wildlife in my community. Notice all the flowers are gone off my Praire Rose plants. I think this littl girl might know why?    Thanks for Reading my Blog.......

What Makes You a Different Real Estate Agent From Others?   When I started selling real estate, I did exactly what everyone else did but after a while I started deviating from the norm. My brokerage told me what to say, what to bring to the appointment, prepare a big book with certificates and sample fliers, and a 50+ page CMA which always seemed to confuse the sellers. Wow them with big words and you will be a big success. But I could see in their eyes that I had lost them so I changed my stategy almost immediately. Real Estate terminology is not the way to impress sellers and they were really looking for truth, honesty and professionalism.   I started preparing my own smaller CMA. I go through the home first and then we sit down and talk. I prefer to sit in the kitchen or dining room ...

Trying to Get Pit Bull Rescued Off the Street in Calimesa but now Missing Last Wednesday afternoon I was made aware that a Pit bull was living right outside the gates of my housing development. So I drove by the thick bushes outside the gates and there he was looking at me. Somehow I did not see any anger or meanness and strangely enough I did not feel fear.     That night, we went and gave him water in a  huge plastic popcorn bowl. Then I put 4 cups of dry dog food in a Tupperware bowl and left it for him near his little hut area. He waited until we walked away and came out and drank the water and then ate the food.      Since then, I have been feeding him and giving him fresh water daily and made friends with him Friday morning. He got within 4" from me and I am sure he doesn't have a...

Protect Your Pets on 4th of July     Fourth of July Fireworks: Make sure to keep your dogs inside as the noise and smells can cause a lot of anxiety. Sometimes they get so upset that they will run off or get mad and bite or scratch someone. Leave them at home in a quiet area until the night is over. Leave the television on to hide the noise of fireworks outside. Keep your pets away from the "safe and sane" fireworks you and your kids may be using. Use safety measures with your pets, children, family and friends.   Thanks for Reading my Real Estate Blog...... California is a dream-come-true state no matter what your needs or wants are.
