Credit scores are not just for buyers when they get a loan, they are actively being used to disqualify tenants by the landlords. It seems like every day now we are running credit reports for landlord to help them screen through the applicants to rent their homes/condos. Many of the candidates "fail muster" in a big way. Credit reports with low Fico scores, or with bankruptcy, or with collection accounts are now just plain too common.
