Monday Motivation: How to inspire the "non speaker" to speak.One of my favorite books 'Doubling Your Brain Power' address this question and I thought I would share here and see what your thoughts are.The ones who are what we call the silent ones, not just on Active Rain, but in real life.These were the advice given: 1.  Draw them out with praise.2.  Ask pointed questions3. Make comments that provoke response4. Once they start talking do not interrupt.5. Give positive feedback.This reminded me of Active Rain... there are some who fit into this category. There are others who what I call 'Hopeless" they think Active Rain is a Bulletin Board not to interact but post you listings... my take is they are missing out and I feel sorry for them.Just to be clear I am not here to lecture or help on...

There are times when sellers do not want to have the property listed and marketed in the MLS. I am not a fan of it. I believe the more eyes see it on the various platforms the odds are better we get an offer sooner.Then there are times I focus and try to convince my sellers to list it on all the platforms. The only time I like it being not in the MLS when I am trying to cool a property and bring it back as new.What are your thoughts? March always comes around quickly after the short month of February although we did have an extra day with leap year.  Still, here we are already in the final month of the first quarter of 2024. This month I'll touch on the conflicting information out there on the real estate market, inflation and the economy.  A good example is that I recently read in one news outlet that inflation is hovering at 3.9 %; yet another stated 7.9%.  When I go grocery shopping, however, it seems to me that prices have increased closer to 25% to 40%. Observations by a Beverly Hills Realtor, Endre Barath: Is there a real estate foreclosure wave coming? I have seen headlines that try to promote this idea, that a New Wave of Foreclosures is coming our way. Personally, my take is, those who push this idea are attention seekers who do not know what they are talking about. The short month of February is already approaching double digits and I thought I should send out my monthly observations.  All of us in the greater Los Angeles area were focused on the Atmospheric River four-day rainstorm that deluged us earlier this week.
