My Pet Flying Soon....Need Pet Carrier Recommendation Yes, the time has come for us to let our dog Gidget go live with my daughter as it is her dog and we have been keeping her for 3 years. She has been in school and is now moving to a larger place that allows pets. I am so heartbroken but need to get her ready to fly. So, we are doing the custody transfer in late December and decided we should buy her an approved dog carrier that the airline will allow under the seat. So we went to our local Petco in Beaumont, CA last night and looked at the carriers. They seem so small but so is Gidget, just a 13 lb Terrier. When a home is vacated by a distressed homeowner that is losing the property to foreclosure, the motivation to clean the place of any debris or trash doesn't exist. Most times they leave simple trash like pizza boxes from their on-the-go dinner they had during their move-out. Other times though, they leave just about everything behind.
