How many contractors should I get to bid my project?So you send out your project bid request to two contractors and find that one of them is very low on half the items and the other is very low on the other half of the items... The temptation is there to have each of them do what they were low bidder on.That isn't the way it works, sorry, no cigar. Each bidder is looking at an "all or nothing" bid.
