Well, maybe it's not ocean front but it feels like it today with record rainfall in a few short hours. Sun Lakes Arizona, near Chandler in the East Valley has received almost five inches of rain since 2:00 am this morning. Portions of Interstate 10 are closed and many schools and businesses have closed due to flooding. Many around the country say "big deal - what's a little rain?" And in most parts of the country that's true but in the desert we just can't handle rainfall of this proportion in such a small amount of time.
