It's a game that's been around since the 1960's and combines tennis, badminton and ping pong. It's typically played on a badminton-sized court with ping-pong sized paddles and a softball sized plastic wiffle ball, (that's a ball with holes in it, folks.) with points earned as in tennis. So why is it called Pickleball? This weekend, December 11-12, 2010 from 6-8pm, you won't want to miss the sixth annual Luminaria Walk around Diamond Lake in Oakwood Country Club in Sun Lakes, AZ. Over 1000 Luminarias will surround the lake and homeowners will have their homes decorated to the hilt.  The reflection in the lake of the lights and luminarias combined with the fountain lights are a site to beautiful for words.
