Generally, thier homes started as one room and additional rooms were added as the years went by and as the family size increased. Many of the founders were farmers or ranchers. The Verde Valley and Sedona farmers had such wonderful fruit and produce that many would travel from Prescott, Flagstaff and even Phoenix to get this fresh produce. The Walter Jordan residence started as one room.
