Back in 1989 Duncan started the "Best Small Town 4th of July". There were 10,000 people in attendance to see Ninja Turtles, and Disney Characters, the Carter Sisters perform (Deena Carter went on by herself later) and tons of shops and businesses showing their wares. Duncan has since then toned it down, the small town of 600 and one store couldn't keep up! But it will still be a wonderful Small Town 4th of July. This year will host an early parade down Hwy 70 and breakfast in the park, sporting tournaments, pageant & fireworks, Free to Public, Call 928-359-2791 for more information and parade start times.
