     Over the last few years, a few of the "big box" stores tried to get some prime commercial land at the corner of Carefree Hwy and Cave Creek Rd in the town of Cave Creek, AZ.  The Home Depot® was voted down despite their willingness to design the front of the building in the "old west" manner that Cave Creek prides itself on.  However, it was voted down and The Home Depot® simply moved a mile west to Phoenix taking with it millions in tax dollars.  Then, CVS® and Lowe's® tried to do the same.  Again, the powers that be in Cave Creek said no to the "big box" stores and they moved into Carefree, again taking with them millions in tax dollars.        Along comes Walmart®, the "big" in "big box."  After much negotiating and in-fighting amongst town members, Walmart® got the go ahead.   ... 10/11/2011
