    Reports by the Town Manager Usama Abujarah is that the sale tax revenues are up for last quarter of 2011. The town had a 18% increase in the sales tax revenue of the same period of 2010. Part of the increase might be from the opening of the brand new Wal-Mart store at the corner of Cave Creek Rd and Carefree Hwy. The store did open Oct. 5th, and that will have helped, but revenues were up by 28% in Cave Creeks restaurants.   During the second half of last year Cave Creek received about $2 million as compared to $1.7 million in 2010. That included a roughly 75 % increase in retail trade.
