It's an airport.  What can I say?  First of all, the town of Buckeye, Arizona and the Municipal Airport is a hop, skip and a jump 30 miles west of it's larger and better known big brother, Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona.  The airport itself is located west of the town on Palo Verde Road.  It's a General Aviation Airport,  owned and managed by the town of Buckeye. If your favorite of the Sun City Festival floorplans is the Sun City Festival Destiny model you aren't alone.  A smaller version of this home was one of Del Webb's most popular floor plans ever.  It was around the last phase of construction in Sun City West when buyers decided a formal living/dining room (in addition to a separate family/Arizona room) no longer made a whole lot of sense.  There was a great deal of square footage that wasn't being used. If your favorite of the Sun City Festival floorplans is the Sun City Festival Gala model you are in excellent company.  This home is the most requested by my Sun City Festival clients to date. Its predecessor is the Sun City Grand Azalea which, at just under 1500 s.f., was introduced in the last phase and became an instant success. We've all heard the stories. Buy a home in Buckeye for $90,000, $80,000, even $70,000! How easy is it? Well, that all depends. Usually cash offers for homes in Sundance always trumps any other type of offer. If you're financing, that's OK too. We just need to be conscious of the condition of the house. A house with a missing kitchen or other damage will most likely not appraise. There are many types of homes on the market in Sundance including bank foreclosures, HUD homes and short sales.
