Summer Programs at Apache Junction Arizona Library

Beginning May 27th the Apache Junction Public Library will begin offering its summer programs for kids. Tuesday afternoons beginning on the 27th the library begins showing afternoon movies for free. If a child is under 5 they must be accompanied by a person 12 years of age or older. Water and snacks can be purchased. Another summer program for kids is for anyone 18 years of age or younger. It is called "Read Your Way to The Ballpark";. Beginning May 27th and running through July 26th the program is sponsored by the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Arizona Republic. There are prizes such as trips to a ballgame for those who complete the program. Then there is a "Reel Good Books" program for teenagers where they can earn a ticket to the movies.
