The state motto for Arkansas is "The Natural State." I live in Jonesboro in the Delta region, surrounded by farmland, but have spent this last weekend in Mountain View, on the White River and in the "hills." Not mountains, but hills. The leave are turning this weekend, the sun is shining, and it is truly beautiful. Mountain View is known for its music, and on any given day around the Courthouse Square in the center of town, people gather to play their music. There are also shows available, and of course the Ozark Folk Center. I've been staying at the "Inn at Mountain View" which is a wonderful Bed & Breakfast near the Square that faces a park. I recommend Mountain View for anyone wanting to escape the traffic and noises of city life. The people are all wonderful, the scenery beautiful,... 11/18/2007

Our clients this month have been financially challenged . Past credit problems are becoming normal and the houses they require cannot pass any government sponsored lending program. I feel sad for them, but I feel bad for my sellers as well. A mixture of falling leaves and falling credit scores are covering the mountains.My best market here is the  investor in large land parcels.
