Scary Movie…. We all have them a movie we have seen or refuse to look at because of the graphic nature of the film.  The imagination of the writers, movie crew and actors make them seem as real as if they were.  Jessie also has the movies she is scared of.  Take a look and can you see the fear on her face?  S C A R Y  M O V I E!!!!! Notice the fear in her face? She had a hard time sleeping after that one.

Acequia is the new word of the day. OK agents who are living in the Southwest you should be able to get this one.  However I can tell you if I was living in the Southwest I would have not known this word.  Anyway this may have an influence on agents who has to deal with it.  The meaning of (e sa’ke e) is in the Southwest, an irrigation canal.  So did you get it right?  Life is good

Dray is the new word of the day. Well there are several ways to say this because people usually call me Gray, Bray, and other names I won’t discuss in this forum.  Anyway my point is there is a meaning associated with the name and the meaning of (dra) is a low, sturdily build cart with detachable sides, for carrying heavy loads.  So did you get it right?  Life is good I just wished people would understand the spelling of my last name.

Clack is the new word of the day. Look at the word carefully it is not cluck as the sound a chicken makes.  I know you have heard this word before but do you really know its meaning?  Honestly there are three meanings but the one I will give you is the one we need to pay attention to.  The meaning of (klak) is to talk fast; foolishly such as some agents do (me included).  So do you know of an agent or former client who has this problem?

Frippery is the new word of the day.Don’t know about you but I’ve seen it and it is not a pretty site.  I try and not judge but sometimes you know you just know and this is one of those times.  As usual I will give you a moment to take a guess OK times up so the meaning of (frip’er e) is cheap gaudy clothes; tawdry finery.  So what say you have you seen it?  OK I don't know what's going on but apparently something is wrong in the Rain.  I can't post this in the font I want or the color.  Let me know if you are having the same trouble it may be my system

Potation is the new word of the day.Good morning all take a good look at the new word of the day.  There should be a couple of you who know this one but I would suspect most will not.  Sort of sounds like potato so could it be a new word for potato?  Believe it or not all of us do this regardless of what you think.  Have you given up on it?  Doesn’t matter because the meaning of (po ta’ shen) is the act of drinking.  So are you a sipper or a guzzler?  What say you?

Bentonville/Rogers/Bella Vista To See New Wave Of Foreclosures For Sale This is good news for investors and buyers. Hopefully, there will be a lot more good deals hitting the market soon. Basically, what happened was in the Fall of 2011 a bankruptcy case questioned whether foreclosures in Arkansas had been completed in accordance with Arkansas State Law. This caused foreclosure sales to almost come to a halt especially for the properties owned by big out-of-state banks. The foreclosures were recently deemed judicial and the backlog of properties are beginning to hit the market. You can read the full story here at Arkansas Realtors Association Blog Post from June 12, 2012. It is basic economics. The demand has been high, the supply is low, and the prices have gone up. It looks like the s...

Vacuity is the new word of the day. Morning all I hope you had a peaceful rest during the night.  For most of you this should be a give me.  To some of you (just joking) you won’t get it until I give you the meaning.  So this word has about four meanings but I’m interested in number three so the meaning of (va kyoo’e te) is emptiness of mind; lack of intelligence, interest or thought.  Just tell me how many people have you known with this problem?

Spurious is the new word of the day. Interesting word when I read the meaning I thought I would post about it so here goes.  I’ve seen people structures and a host of other things that would fall into this category.  I’ll wager the vast majority of you have also.  So let us dispense with the rest and give you the meaning of (spyoor’ e es) is not true or genuine; false; counterfeit, like in appearance but unlike in structure or function.  What say you?

Autochthon is the new word of the day. This one is a mouthful and I understand why one would use this for certain things but for others I just don’t understand.  How does any person or group know this for certain?  While although there may be no proof of this that’s to say that some won’t be found later?  Alright I’ll get off my soapbox and tell you the meaning of (o tak’ then) is any of the earliest known inhabitants of a place be it plant or animal.

Disapprobation is the new word of the day. OK I chose this one because it should be easy to know the meaning and therefore give you a rest.  Time is ticking and the meaning should be within your grasp.  I won’t keep you in suspense any longer.  The meaning of (dis ap’re ba’ shen) is of course disapproval.  Let us hope we don’t get disapproval of our offers or for our listing appointments.  So how much disapprobation have you experienced?

Plaint is the new word of the day. While I knew they had to have a word for it I until now did not know what it was.  Now I do and so do you.  So want to give it a shot?  Come on and give it a try and let’s see if you got it.  Well don’t say I didn’t give you a chance so the meaning of (plant) is a complaint or grievance.  Don’t have one of your clients make a complaint or grievance to your State Board I understand it is not a pleasant experience.

Telpher is the new word of the day. This is one you agents in beautiful California and Florida should get with no problem.  For those of you in other parts of the country this may be challenging.  So if you consider that a hint here is another is usually associated with Disneyland.  OK if you haven’t guessed it by now you won’t so the meaning of (tel’fer) is an electrically driven car suspended from and run on overhead cables
