The family was on a trip visiting family in California when they went to Hal Roach Studios. They went to the public cafeteria where he began to give an impromptu performance. Rob Thomas is MIA            For those of you who follow Rob you may have noticed he is MIA. I tried calling him the other day with no luck. As I was at a doctor’s office he of course called (Karma). Anyway he stated in his voicemail he has been busy. I tried calling him back with the same results. I miss seeing all the photos Rob has posted of Lake, the old barns and home sites around his area. BTW my mother’s family lived in the Bristol/Kingsport Tennessee area. Don’t know when he’ll be back telling us about real estate in his area or showing us how fast Lake is growing. Thankfully he seems to be okay and nothing to be concerned with. Hurry back Rob, you are missed…

He also invented a string-gripping device on acoustic guitars, which is the forebear to that on all guitars...

15 minutes does make a difference. The other day I was headed to work around 07:00 AM that is and the drive was short and hardly no traffic.  A day later I left at 07:15 AM and it took me an additional 20 minutes to get to the office.  That brought back memories.  A few months ago I had a call about a listing we have.  I got the information from the potential buyer and called the listing agent.  No answer so I left a voice message and as you can guess no return call, after 15 minutes I made a call to another agent, left a message and no return call.  I tried it once more time with no results, so I called the potential buyer.  His response to me “When no one called me back I called another agency and talked to an agent.”  Now my policy is if I call and you do not return my call within 15 ...
