In 1949 he came up with an idea that has forever changed the wonderful world of toys. The toy he invented was nothing more than some plastic parts with pushpins. He sold the idea to brothers Hassenfeld and Hasbro Bradley (AKA Hasbro) back in 1951 for $5,000.00. He bought back the rights in 1951 for $7,000.00 and production began in 1952.What he came up with everyone will recognize at Mr. Potato Head.
