With help from the Church and private donations, these precious little children had the Christmas of their dreams. While shopping for the children we held out some money to go to the grocery store, so they could have a fabulous Christmas Dinner. I was so excited with the delivery that Christmas Eve.   I want to remind all my friends and neighbors in St Clair and Talladega County that Sunday is Daylight Saving Time. It is hard to believe it is that time again. Saturday night before you go to sleep be sure and move your clocks back one hour. This will allow us to enjoy one more hour of daylight during the winter months. Is There Is GOLD In Them Thar Hills? The State of Alabama has been under a gripping drought that does not seem as it is going to let go. So far St Clair County is not producing much Fall color. The leaves on the trees are turning brown and falling off. In the area around Pell City, it is about the same story. I could not wait until Fall arrived so I could go play with my camera. Exciting News For The Unemployed In The State Of Alabama     Anyone reading the Pell City newspaper this morning read an exciting article on page three. In my opinion, this is the BEST NEWS the paper has printed in a year. I cannot understand why this was not on page one. With so many people unemployed in Alabama, this is the story everyone has been waiting to hear. The State of Alabama is Number 1 in the nation, in the drop, in unemployment. Information gathered by The Bureau of Labor Statistics from August 2009 to August 2010 shows that the Alabama unemployment rate has declined by 1.4 percent.
