The Ledges is a private community in the Huntsville Mountain with many fascinating homes and just a short drive away from shopping, schools and other amenities that Huntsville has to offer. The Ledges has it own private golf course, sports clubs and a 36,300-sq.-ft club house with membership above 500. John Blue, President of the Ledges Association, describes the Ledges as "the architectural style of the historic district of downtown Huntsville with the softness of Mooresville."    Today was my first day at my part-time job at Thompson Tax Service in Huntsville, AL. I actually enjoyed it! I am the Receptionist so all I do is schedule appointments. I didn't make it in time to take the classes to prepare taxes. I am going to plan on doing that next year from January through April 15.I don't have to commit myself, and the job is really flexible. I can work whenever I want to, and take off it I need to. This will help bring in extra income for me, and maybe I can meet people that are looking to buy or sell a home. Maybe I can learn a little more about tax information, and the IRS than I already know. Does anyone else do this or work a second job?

Be Aware: New Scam Surfacing During Holiday TimeSubmitted by: Kimberly Grant, Huntsville Real Estate AgentHuntsville/Madison AL Real Estate BlogI just heard of a new scam that is being reported now.  Yet again, more dishonest people are trying to steal the identities of others.  I wanted to share the information with all of you.  This scam involves an unsuspecting consumer receiving a phone call from a person that identifies themselves as a court official in their local area.  They state the reason they are calling is to inform you of a warrant that was issued for your arrest for failing to appear for jury duty.  Most likely the person would say that they never received any notification of a summons to appear for jury duty.  The dirty scoundrel would then say that they need to verify in...
