Scam Alert For Verizon Wireless  Even the included phone number sounds very authentic, but something didn't feel right so I called the number from my statement and got through to customer service who was able to tell me just what I suspected...that my account was up-to-date.  Since this looked so real I thought I'd get it out there for everyone as soon as possible. I received this email supposedly from Verizon Wireless today and while it looks very authentic...it's a SCAM!!!! I snipped this from the original email so that none of the links would be active.  However when I hover over the links in the original email something totally unrelated to Verizon pops up. Make A Wish 5K&1 Mile Fun Run, Village Of Providence Oct. 6 2012 The Make A Wish 5K&1 Mile Fun Run, Village Of Providence Oct. 6 2012 has come to an end and joined last years Make-A-Wish Run in history with an eye on 2013.  Originally I was going to ride my motorcycle on part of the Tail of the Dragon motorcycle ride through Eastern Tennessee, but I woke up to rain and cool temps this morning and decided that cool was ok, but cold and wet wasn't so I volunteered my time at the Make-A-Wish 5K & 1Mile Fun Run, Village Of Providence early this morning.
