Big Spring Park Outdoor Ice Skating Huntsville Alabama 2012 I arrived at the Big Spring Park Outdoor Ice Skating rink earlier this morning before the rink was opened. Some people had arrived and were walking the grounds, visiting the Christmas tree walk and waiting for their chance to slide on the ice. While ice skating is not necessarily new to Huntsville Alabama, outdoor ice skating is a new attraction on the grounds of the Huntsville Museum of Art in Big Spring Park.  Huntsville does have an indoor ice rink; The Benton H.
