Calgary Housing Market Report - November 2012 Calgary Single Family Home Sales November 2012 1,006 single family homes were sold in Calgary, 5% up from the 954 sold homes in the same month last year. The average sold price was $488,311, compared to $468,861 last year. That represents a 4% increase. The benchmark price of $433,600 was 8.5% higher than the $399,700 of November 2011. January to November 2012  14,367 single family homes were sold, relative to 12,403 in 2011. The average sold price was $480,421, 3% higher than the $467,172 during the same period last year.     Calgary Condo Townhouses Sales  November 2012 198 townhouses were sold in Calgary, compared to 150 last year. CMHC is very optimistic when it comes to the future of Calgary's real estate market!! In it's latest Housing Outlook Conference for Calgary, the Mortgage and Housing Corporation gave a very strong growth forecast for home sales and prices in the city, saying that in 2012 the expected sales activity will rise 16% (compared to 2011) by the end of the year with 26,000 sold units, approaching levels not seen since 2007!! This number is expected to go even higher in 2013 when additional 500 sold properties will increase the total sales to 26,500. The strong demand for housing in Calgary that is not met with the same level of inventory supply have pushed the prices moderately up! 2% increase by the end of the year is expected to raise the $402,000 average price of 2011 to $411,000 by the end ...

Lake Bonavista Estates Market Stats - October 2012 Lake Bonavista Estates offers luxury lakefront homes in a very well established community that is situated in the southeast quadrant of Calgary. October Market snapshot shows that single family homes were selling quickly in Lake Bonavista Estates with an average 17 days on the market.
