Many of the horse properties I've sold displayed proud photos of the horses in the fields, paddocks and stalls. Many of my waterfront properties showed dogs playing the water or on the beach. I tend not to show cats because people can be weird about cats. :(

I have seen "owner has cats" in listings, presumably to warn potential buyers (and showing agents) who may have allergies.
I have also seen the dreaded "don't let the cat out" or "don't let the dog inside" in the MLS showing instructions. I only made that mistake once; the cat went out, ever since then, owner or LA must be present if you insist on your uncaged pet remaining inside or outside.
Horses, cows, chickens? Not yet!

Domestic and wild animals are a part of why people own many of our properties, great staging when they show up at the right time to get their picture taken.

Nah...The question of "Do the animals convey with the property?" comes up too much! LOL

No, I work SFRs. If I had a horse property listing with horses in it, I would. The only horse property I've had listed has been horse-less and there was no reason to import a horse for a photo.

If you are allergic to cats, dogs, etc, the pets in the property presentation can make you start to itch. But if those animals are part of the family, the place better be pet friendly. 80% of real estate home buyers say they consider their pets in property purchases.

AWWWWWW WILBURRRRR!
Why not, if it's appropriate?
Appropriate is the operative term here.
I might not with a luxury home, for example. What if a prospective buyer is allergic to cats? Or has PTSD from a dog bite?
Having said this, my Luna got me sooooo much business.
Moxzilla is a different critter but in the near future she WILL grace my pics if I can get her to hold still!

I have had the occasional dog or cat in my photos outside, I try not to inside. Once I put a pillow at an angle that covered a sleeping cat on a bed.

Yes. That way no one should be surprised if they step into 'something' when touring the property, lol.

This is an interesting idea and sounds like it could be fun. However, I mainly only work with luxury real estate in Southern California, so no farms yet!

Yes, I have. Most of what I sell is your standard single family home on a small to average lot. If I sell something with animals, I'll include them.
