I enjoy sending out Christmas Cards as well as writing little personal notes to each family or friend.

It never goes out of fashion to make somebody's day.

I sent 70 hand-written Thanksgiving Cards to my top 70/100 A+ & A's and I'll send about 450 Christmas Greetings Postcards (which nullify any obligation to reciprocate because it's just a postcard). That goes to my entire A+,A & B level database as well as 100 Evites to my annual Gratitude Gathering in December.

I stopped the mass mailings of Christmas cards about 10 years ago.  Most people I know consider them a waste of paper and energy.  They don't want to feel obligated to send one in return either.  Also, the cost of our postage is disgusting and I try my best to not encourage them lol

A phone call in the New Year is appreciated.

No I no longer do. I think that it's gone out of fashion & even worse is sending out the 'yearly' letter on what a family is doing.

Never did do that.  I always felt that Christmas cards were a personal thing.  Now my friends and family video call (I go to Hawaii during the Holidays) which is much more personal.  The ONLY Christmas cards I get is from vendors who want my money next year.  I love my clients but I'd rather do something special for them during the year and something that is more personal.

It is fun to see what others are doing so thanks for posting the question. I used to send them and I used to put a lot of thought into them. I also used to be one of those people who dislike"Happy Holidays." Then I became enligthented to how many suffer during the holidays. Its one thing to hear it but another to experience it. After 25+ years of sending, I quit, when I divorced. I have given thought to sending again, but not being much of a traditionalist, I'd opt for something custom and hand written. We'll see. In short, what Bob said, lol!
