Well, If I were doing the ranking, California would not be anywhere to be found in the best states to live. (LOL)

I think Massachusetts is ranked 9th

We have high taxes, high cost of living, effectively a very liberal 1-party State. roads and bridges in need of repair, God awful traffic, and more. But living on the Coast is a sensory delight with the freshest of fresh seafood and access to mountains, lakes, and a rich history. 

I have 10 minutes to compare both reports but that doesn't mean I would consider a move to any other State. FL has all I could ever want John!

It seems wallet hub puts out another survey every few weeks.  They must be running out of ideas.

New Jersey and New York are #1 and #3 on this list???

  How much did those States' Chambers of Commerce pay Wallet Hub for those rankings?

John - like you I have seen so many surveys of countless  numbers of things of little(or no) circumstance to me, that I think I will pass on looking at this latest news from wallethub. And I know if California is mentioned in any regard, criticism is likely to follow.  And I don't need a survey to "tell" me that.  

Hi John Juarez.  I could not get the link to work, but I am with Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist, California has definitely dropped in my rankings over the years.  It can't be near the top any more, can it? 

We talked about these surveys last week. I'm not falling for it as Candice said - how many people paid for the placement?

I have researched this & have discovered my personal critieria which is what it comes down to. One thing stands out in my searching: Where you don't WANT to live. Eliminating that is helpful to finding what does work. Age, logistics, medical, family, weather & resources effect it all. Think: subjective

Hello John Juarez each state has positive and negative issues to live in, some people enjoy one state while others don't enjoy the same state.

Florida is #10 according to the US News survey and I have seen it ranked higher in other surveys so don't put a lot of stock in these types of things. The the factors used vary in each so they are at best an apples to oranges comparison. Florida has it all, beautiful beaches, miles of coast, no state income tax, etc., etc. I can't imagine living anywhere else.

Utah is #3. There must be a mistake in the talleying, I think it's #1! 😜

Wisconsin is popular in both surveys.

Surveys are generally pay to play. And the more you pay the more selective the people asked. Tainted, I would say so.
