I have my sphere and past client list and they're golden. Then we have a newsletter for prospective clients and some past clients. I stay in touch with my sphere and past clients in many different ways. The newsletter pretty much puts your name in front of people even if they don't read it.

The quality of my database is what matters to me. I do not send spam or otherwise unwanted offerings that people have not asked or signed up for. 

My email list is much larger than my SOI. My SOI is the heart of my email list. That is where most of my business originates. It is not just about email. Phone calls and our monthly newsletter are very important parts of staying in touch.

Hello Debbie Gartner my email list is not very large, but I need to put more effort into it.

You know, I have never put much effort into my email list, but maybe I should start.  The problem is, there is no uniformity in who or where my clients come from so it's hard to target a certain message. Or even what they will buy, their budget. And I really hate to barrage them with just stuff.  Will put my thinking cap on.

In retirement my list is very small. When active I was not as diligent as I should have been.

My email list is mainly my SOI.  Over the last year I retired my mailing list as it was not producing anything and was taking a far greater level of effort than it was worth.

Wise choice Debbie, there is gold in those databases.

Definitely looking for ways to grow our list!!! Only at about 1,200 opens right now... any tips you have learned that are paying off!?
