That is an exceedingly broad question.

Interesting question but not the first time it's been presented.
There are things called trends that encompass the NAR, veteran agent expereince which really are not trends but new ways of doing the same thing wearing differant shoes. I won't waste my or your time on this.
Then there is the trend identified as the iBuyer, being promoted by invester groups AND franchises in a weak attempt to compete. This does address alieviating the PAIN the current system (REALTORS) impose on the home seller. Many owners are being given a choice and making the choice they prefer.
But along the same path of thought comes the crazy idea of analyzing what the consumer and home owner prefer by observing other industires. An agent who chooses to resist conforming to the herd can incorporate these demonstrated prefferences in the appeal they make to the public.
Without knowing the purpose of your question or who you are (profile not accessible) I won't share more.
