I decided not to use it as I just can't handle anymore media on my plate. I can barely figure out what to do on each platform. Don't do Twitter either for that reason.

I have real estate-related things posted to Instagram automatically, but otherwise don't pay much attention to it. I've never considered it to a a source of business. It's more about visibility.

No, we haven't used it. Probably like others there are only so many of these platforms we can "feed" before we're overwhelmed!

I do not use Instagram for business. Family and friends only and very few of those.

Social media rarely yields my referrals, it's 95% my dtabase and 5% Yelp & Google Business.

Not enough bandwidth for all these platforms.

I use Instagram to post a daily "Shareable" provided by ListReports, including a caption and hashtags, adding my specific hashtags as well, The key is consistency and Instagram allows as many hashtags as you like, helping me rank higher. I have increased my number of followers that otherwise wouldn't know me AND they are starting to engage. My posts on Facebook don't do nearly as well anymore, thanks to their policy changes.

I use Instagram and Facebook.  Both are valuable for visibility & branding. 

I do not use Instagram for anything. Retirement has benefits.

Great worth while read post Brian Gardner ... Thank you! Each and every social media platform has merits if used correctly right up until the ROI of time or money or both make the numbers show otherwise. Bottom line, how do you use it, what works in your market location and gets results? 

Unfortunately if someone not using Instagram or Piggly Wiggly or Bang Bang Bang whatever platform claims it is dead, many will just accept the headline as gospel FOR EVERYONE and stay parked on the sidelines. Or worse pull the plug completely. You can not blame a platform for not performing if you are using it wrong or not at all or have not changed the way you implement it.

Any social media platform is like a garden needing the soil prepared, seeded, weeded and watered. If you don't put the time in with the right consistent original caring hyper local approach to make it worthwhile for the other end of the marketing signal then drought or marketing harvest crop failure happens. How do all your platforms play together and cross pollinate to extend your reach and your amplify your voice is important too.

I use it for my sellers as well as keeping up with my millennial and younger sphere. It's super easy to use and takes about 5 minutes a day to catch up. 

I'm not terribly good at keeping up with it because I focus on other sites but, it's one that is easy to swipe through while at a stop light!
