Sellers are doing very well in today's market. Yet, there has to be a plan. What to do with the funds obtained from the sale? Buy up? Invest in multi-family? Stay in cash because you think prices will crash? Buy stocks or bonds? Invest in bit coin?

I am not buying at this moment. But who knows what 2021 will bring.  Focusing more on the market - not the re market.

Interesting question.  I consider this kind of information personal. I only discuss my investment/wealth strategies with my CPA and other professionals ... not something I share in an open public forum such as ActiveRain. 

I was so close to purchasing a property a few years ago, then pulled back.   Decided to apply the dollars to pay off my home.

I am still an investor waiting and watching for the right property, in the right location at the right price.

Buy low and sell high is at work...Now, one must look at their position it it

Waiting and watching, so many things at play 

Right now i am buying, fixing and selling. I am not holding anything until politics shakes out. If the R keeps the senate, the market could stay good. If the D takes the senate or they have a lock down, could be a huge sell off

Still selling, yet ready to jump back into buying when the time is right.

I'm not a collector, but always moving every few years my entire life as a builder.

I own two pieces of real estate, one is my home and one is my office and I don't consider myself on the sidelines because I'm not currently buying or selling either of them.
