Your question is questionable, Will Hamm
I can say that sellers who seriously want to sell are doing very well in this market. Those who try to test the market with prices that are too high are failing to find buyers.
Buyers are paying what it takes to be successful...often in multiple offer competitions.

Not sure what you're asking, Will but, we WISH more sellers would list - we are desperate for inventory!
The issue is that they can't list because they can't find their next home.

So not sure what you're meaning. I take it you have low inventory in your area and sellers want to get their homes on market?

If homeowners want or need to sell they likely will go on the market regardless of the inventory. The challenge for some...can they find another house?

Most people sell because they have to or want to. Amount of inventory doesn't usually factor into their decision to sell.

we don't have a lot of people putting their homes on the market.... thus we have low inventory. Those listed generally sell quickly.

Will, our market inventory is really low. That puts our sellers at a tug of war with listing their homes. They can't find a home to buy, so they don't list and it just continues the circular challenge we are facing.

People are still putting their homes on the market but have safety concerns

Time to get out there and find some more listings.
Make this fact the focus of your new campaign to the neighborhoods you work in.

Not quite sure of the question but downtown Chicago has ample supply! The pandemic and its effects have changed the dynamic.

We have less than 1 months inventory, with year over year drop of almost 50% and no end in sight. I believe once interest rates rise , buyer demand will soften, allowing sellers to find a replacement property, and sell their home, which in turn, creates more inventory.
