My droid is synched to my laptop.  100% use it successfully and I love it. The set up was stupid-simple .... in other words, the technology is so smart it basically sets itself up.  All I had to do is click OK.

I might have to check that out.  I found an app that connected messages from my phone to computer which makes it easier for me to text message from my computer.  I enjoy it.

No, have not seen that one.  I do make HEAVY use of the "Messages for web" on Android phones to text from my computer.
