Chris,

No we would not put out any food.  In luxury home open houses, many agents would have lunch catered for broker opens...now it is not happening. A

I was never one for that kind of thing.  The flyer was all I gave out, if people were interested in it.  I would still do the flyer today... assuming we're ever allowed to do open houses in our county.

I don't do open houses. 95% of my clients ask me upfront not to have them. But if I did, I certainly would not be leaving food out.

Not holding open houses at this time. Most clients don't want a bunch of looky-loos going through their home. A fair amount of clients aren't thrilled with showings as it is.

I've not been a fan of open houses for 10-12 years - so I do not do them. Now, with COVID we are not allowed to do them.  As for food, my way of feeding people is donating to the food banks ... not at open houses or broker tours.

Open houses have long been a source of new business for me.

Now, OH are forbidden by local health authorities in the San Francisco Bay Area.

When I held OH, I did not feed guests or provide anything except for a flyer and opportunity to see the house. Of late, I did not provide a flyer except virtually upon request by a visitor who provided their email address and cell number in exchange. I always had informational packages available...title info, seller disclosures, inspection reports...also virtual and on request.

Buy or begone....no hosting, gatherings and socials. Those days are gone covid or no covid. Price something right, have the repairs in line & location does the rest. This is the flow....

Good morning Chris, In today's litigious society, I do not offer food. All someone has to say is they contracted the Wuhan flu at an open house event - doesn't have to be true!

I do host Open Houses.
I do not offer communal grazing opportunities.
However, when the dryness a mask creates that often result in the need to cough, I DO have the tools to 'wet ones whistle.'
When folks express the need for more C-19 exposure I direct them to any Cracker Barrel in the Atlanta area.  Yep, I was there and appalled by what was going on in the Cracker Barrel.

I didn't do open house events prior to Covid and I'm DEFINITELY not doing them now.  If I were, no goodies other than house info.

No. I would not hold an open house during the pandemic.

Virtual presentations are now the common marketing practice.

I have seen notification of open houses in my area that are announcing the availability of snacks and drinks. I haven't had one lately, but if I did, I would not provide.

Not a chance in heck!!  In fact open houses are fast becomming a thing of th past.  Buyers and their agents make an appointment within a certain amount of hours and they are fully approved.  Makes total sense to me to keep this model going.
