Well, we had a bucket list trip to Croatia planned.  I should be sipping wine on board our ship or riding our bikes exploring one of their cities right this minute.  So I will just enjoy sitting next to the pool with my wife this evening and celebrate what we have.  Maybe spend a little time discussing our next adventure!

I have been traveling all summer. It has been so nice since not many people are traveling:). 

Tristan went to a baseball conditioning facility in Indiana since Florida was still closed for baseball in June. He left on June 1. 

My daughter and one of my granddaughters than went on our road trip to watch some of his baseball tournaments. 

We took Aylandra to Gatorland since they were open and outdoors and no mask were required only for employees. Then we drove to Chattanooga for my birthday and went to Ruby Falls and Rock City! So fun!! and Gorgeous. 

Then it was off to Indiana for baseball. Then we drove to Kennett Square PA to spend 3 weeks with another one of my sons and his daughters. 

Then we drove to Atlanta GA for a week long Perfect Game tournament where Tristan was clocked at 89MPH!! YEAH!!! 

Now we are flying to Utah to see my daughter Tirzah and do her baby shower as she is expecting her baby in late September.

Well we have learned that the "city" concept where at-large groups (citizens, homeowners, work forces, retail centers etc.) gather and agree to rules and regs fails if everyone doesn't agree to it. Perhaps becoming more self-sufficient is a personal answer with effective leadership being the best answer. There are pockets of peace I call them all over the United States but in the end, wherever that is, we must provide/protect for ourselves first. I always wondered about the second amendment to bear arms and why we would need it today. That question has been answered....

We'd be visting our kids and grandkids in NC!  That's still the plan we just need to get out in our riduculous hot weather (110 for the next week) and find the RV we want to set up our tiny home - which I know call  my quantine tiny home!  The grands will love us to show up in a big bus!!  And we plan to bring Barney (my trusty assistant) along.

Evidently, loads of people from the San Francisco Bay area and San Jose think it's on the Monterey Peninsula where I am.  They come down here in droves right now to buy.  So there you go.  Don't have to leave the country. Just leave high density cities. So many people work from home now anyway so that excuse is gone about "living close to where you work". Here it couldn't get any closer and the area is beautiful.

The Colorado Sun reported an influx of new work-at-home buyers fleeing big cities to move to Colorado mountain resort towns.

They can earn a living on the internet and have beautiful mountains, fresh air, and outdoor recreation activities nearby.

Some are making vacation homes their new primary homes. Housing demand and prices are rising.
