I did not get to see my son today. He was very sick and tested for COVID last week.  He will know in 5 days if tested positive.  No need for us to take any risks.  We had a 90-minute phone call and he is a 10-minute drive from me.

I wouldn't have seen my family this year, regardless of pandemics, etc. My mom and mother-in-law have passed away. My children are all in different states. BUT ... I talked to them, enjoyed my day, and all is good.

       I talked with Mom on the phone.  She and my sister ate lunch at a seafood restaurant in North Myrtle Beach.  They sat outside by the marina.  Mom was wearing an orchid corsage.  She had a good time!
