I was about to screen clip before reading the other answers and then saw Kathleen Daniels got you covered. She's exactly right.
You do have EDIT in your 3 dots.
Sometimes you need to refresh your screeen before you edit on FB though and I fine it easy to edit from my Newsfeed than my Home Page.

curious what you eventually did. I have found that older posts couldn't be edited. Once I wanted to change to date (for open house) and could not and had to repost with the new dates.
