stay the hell away from people.... that one person you speak with might be a  carrier..... why take a chance....

Shelter in Place means you stay home except for medical & grocery reasons, you do not go to work unless you are listed essential and you avoid parks, trails and beaches when walking your dog or jogging. I abide by those rules to do my part to stop the spread of COVID-19. The "self-justified rule benders" are spreading the disease...in the opinion of the CDC and our state governor on down. Worse, is the perception and my business can't afford a reputation of being on the wrong side of this shelter in place order, nor can my health.

Shelter in place means just that.  Essential means essential and for those that don't know what essential means there is a website to check.  

Now is not the time (for me) to look for big-ticket items.

We have that here now. Showrooms are closed at most businesses. Orders are over the phone with credit card, then they call when order is ready to be picked up. You stay in truck and they load it.

Common sense is not necessarily acceptable(or accessible) despite guidelines and mandates stating such.

I'll assess the benefit/risk matrix and go from there.  I'm not going to pass up a good savings on an essential item when we'll be on extremely limited income over the next year and more.

We are staying at home and are focusing on the things we need at home.

I'm only going out for thing that MUST be done.

Everyone has to seek their own comfort level, I go to the office every day, (it it empty except for me and 1-2 admins), then go straight home, no stops at the store.

Of course this is about what I did before the Apocalypse too.

I am being a real homebody through this crisis. And, I will be slow to come out once the real fear subsides.
