Home is where the hearth is.

I usually just copy a post from Bill Spear, cause his posts are generally very well organized and thought out, and I change the names to protect the guilty and repurpose it as mine.

whoa, whoa, whoa... did I just say that out loud?

That's not how I roll. I pick a topic & then there is 'no day' or post per day. When it's completed it gets posted.

While I appreciate those whose post daily,  that is not necessarily a part of my "strategy".  I do remember the days of thirty posts in thirty day challenges when reaching that FREE membership was important.

As I have said many times before, life is always evolving and ActiveRain is definitely a part of that.  I enjoy the day-to-day interaction that involve many aspects of AR.

I can see how a schedule can help streamline efforts and I do jot possible post titles or thoughts in "draft format" as a reminder.  Quite frankly, I guess I "use" ActiveRain as a journal-of-sorts these days.

At this point posts do not take much time, I am more concerned with what will help to bring in more clients.

I have plenty of templates ready to feed data into for our market reports, once my spreadsheet with the data is prepared I can pop those out in a few minutes per post.

I have a gazillion photos in my collection so this helps too.

Also an extensive collection of posts to recycle quickly with a new spin that only takes seconds to perform.

But if I am in a real hurry, it is easy to just mention a few thoughts off the top of my head, pop in a photo and post.  These may do nothing for bringing in new clients, but they do seem to get the most engagement from the AR membership.

If I don't have time to write a blog post, I don't.

If there's a blog post I "have" to write for some reason, it's on the schedule and gets done first thing in the day.

So I have no techniques!

#1. I am the only one who knows the schedule. The 'challenge' is invalid but I will concede a fake deadline makes EVERY reality show more real.

#2. Who is my audience. For example if I'm writing for the eyeballs of real estate agents, including zDevil in the title works.

#3. Public audience, write about an observable or How TO or include a number. All well know techniques.

For technique to keep posting....."Understand your why?"
A valid 'why' means by ending engagement the world does not benefit from your genius, so save the world by being generous and not self-fish. If the writer can not see the 'one' it is easy to lose momentum, enthusiasm and vision.

When I did local events posts, those were the easiest to grab and refresh.
Now, I'm more likely to go to a photo or a FAQ type posts.  If I already have market data pulled, then a market report is fairly quick too.

If I don't have the time, or really don't feel inspired, I don't post. Market reports, communities, and local happenings, along with learnings from the business provide ample fodder for posting.

NO CLUE how I do A LOT on faery time. 🦄🎠🎡💡🕯🧚‍♂️🧞‍♀️

RE blog posts are simply part of the marketing plan. I will get them done within the week give or take that I contractually allow myself to have marketing up and running.

Other posts, I have to be inspired or amused and fortunately I'm usually both. But I'm like Lyn. Things will stay in draft for a long time until I feel like they can go forth.

I'd rather see quality then just something shoved out there. It's not hard to tell the difference.

If you're wanting to stay tight to schedule, I can't remember who wrote about this recently, I want to say Margaret = start with an image and build around it.

And yeah, like Alan said we should all just copy Bill

And get kicked in the Funyuns LOL

I do 30+ market reports every month for clients and I share them when I don't have time to write. I prefer to write but, the market reports are shared more on social media and directed to my website (and sometimes here).

And, I always save one for my favorite photo of the week for Sundays!

I don't.  In fact, I just went 4 months wo/ posting an article...while my traffic and income grew.  I just work on higher income activities (e.g email, funnels, product creation), etc.

BTW, I get 550,000-600,000 pv/month on my site.

I don't allow myself to get "tight on time" in this regard. It's part of my daily list of things to do and if for some reason I have a day that doesn't allow for a thoughtfully written post, I defer till the next day and probably post twice on another day... or not.
